The health division of National General has changed its name and is now called Allstate Health Solutions.
For those of you who don’t know, Allstate purchased National General in 2021 in what was considered Allstate’s largest acquisition ever. Most of us are familiar with Allstate, either we have had one of their policies before or we have at least seen their television commercials. However, not everyone is familiar with National General. National General, commonly referred to as NatGen, is often considered the largest insurance company in the United States that no one has heard of. You’ve most likely only heard of them if you have had one of their policies.
Ever since the acquisition of National General by Allstate back in 2021, there has been a plan to change the name of National General Accident and Health. This has been a long time in the making and we are just seeing the public roll out of the new branding.
How Does This Affect Policy Holders?
It Doesn’t. Your current policies will remain the same, but you might start seeing the Allstate logo instead of National General.
